My trip to the capitol is a little over an hour in all kinds of weather, and some have suggested that I simply stay down there. But for me, the trip through the countryside is time to gather my thoughts, calm my heart, pray for our state and my colleagues, and prepare for the day. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
