The state of Vermont is officially getting sued for the Legislation that they passed this year which requires food producers to label their products if there are GMO ingredients in the food. This law suit will cost Vermont taxpayers millions of dollars at a time when our economy is sluggish and not growing at the rate of the rest of the country. I believe the timing of this legislation is inappropriate for our economy and for small businesses who will be forced to change their labeling.
