This time of year is easier (a lot of downtime waiting for conference committees working out differences between the House and the Senate) and harder (lots of late nights and unpredictability). I had a nice time yesterday being shadowed by a young constituent who was interested in politics. Just a few days to go, and I feel like a kid who can't wait to get out of school.
