In spite of too much rain lately, water is one of our important
resources, as I found out at a meeting in Barton last night. I enjoyed
hearing about the possibilities and challenges of harnessing hydro power as a sustainable power source. The falls in Barton at one time powered
four businesses, and the meeting was exploring the possibilities for the present.
