Busy at the statehouse trying to finish all the business. I voted no on the transportation bill, because they're trying to pay for it with more gas taxes, and now more tax on diesel, too. I am supporting reform in the education bill, to prevent more property taxes. And it bothers me that
the legislature is sending contradictory messages - we have a drug
problem, but let's decriminalize marijuana, and we have a high suicide
rate, but let's pass physician-assisted suicide. In spite of it all, I
still enjoy representing my constituents in Montpelier.
